I am a newbie so please be patient with me. I created new a project in d-tools SI 2017 and added some AV. I have the project set to engineering and when I try and click “new>open in Visio”, the button is greyed out. I have Visio 2013 installed on this 64bit PC and when I open any previous projects that have Visio files already completed, it opens fine. Any idea why I can not create a new Visio file from a project in si 2017?

I just tried uninstalling and reinstalling drawing add-ins and that did not correct the problem.

We just deployed this as well and had the same problem/question. It is not obvious but watching the video below clearly shows you need to ‘Checkout’ the project first before you can create files etc. It made sense once it was figured out, but wasn’t clear to new users…

the Non-Video instructions need to be updated showing the check out procedure to avoid this confusion….
