When building custom reports, the help files ReportUtilities.chm and ProjectItems.chm provide a lot of help. Is there anywhere that we can get the most recent versions of these files? The most recent version of ReportUtilities that I could find doesn’t have any of the API commands for dealing with optional or alternative items.

    Thanks,

    James

Is there any update on these files? Seems like lots of methods aren’t documented completely. Do ActiveReports have any .chm files available?

    Hi,

    Please try this –
    http://downloads.d-tools.com/six/reports/forum/ReportUtilities.zip

This documents the methods in our ReportUtilities.

Ahhh, the infamous .chm file. When you download this file, it may be blocked so that when you unzip it no content appears to be present. Do this.
    1. Download the file
    2. Right-click the zip file and choose Properties
    3. Click the [Unblock] button:

    4. Unzip the file and double-click to open it.
    5. Expand the ReportUtilites Methods node. This lists the available Report Utilities that we have built and the syntax needed to use.
