Our report theme is unavailable for use with default scope of work document. Nor can we create a new theme to use. We still can use/create legacy themes. When will this feature be back? We will be forced to recreate all documentation to include company logo and license number due to this change.May 2, 2017 at 6:00 am #12799
You can still use our legacy client reports including Scope of work document report with legacy themes in SI 2017.
Please download our Legacy Proposal reports from here (Legacy SI 2016 Proposals)
Download Legacy Other client Reports from here (Cover page, Scope of Work, etc)
Legacy Other client Reports
Hope it helps.May 3, 2017 at 11:22 am #12800
That’s great and all, but we need a solution to the new report system not allowing custom themes.
The problem is that we run report groups (scope, proposal install, contract) in many different variations. Creating more labor for our design team to recreate all of these groups, change all of the settings within each report, and make sure the groups are distributed to all machines, kind of defeats the purpose of D-Tools.
I understand needing to change reports around. But only releasing them with half of the features that should be standard, forcing us to use a work around (labor costs), only to do the same process again once you finish the production release (more labor cost) doesn’t help us.
Yes, this is a first world problem. Yes, we will survive. Don’t rush something to release, without having all the same features available as the old system. Why in the world would you remove custom themes….?May 3, 2017 at 8:27 pm #12801
Understood your problem my apologizes for the inconvenience as of now our dev team working on this to allow user to create and manage custom themes. Within this month an update will be released with this feature.June 21, 2017 at 12:10 pm #12841
So far, this doesn’t appear to have been resolved?June 23, 2017 at 1:22 am #12843
Sorry SI update got delayed due to new feature work (Customer Portal) and our next update of SI app (including ability to manage custom report theme) which is scheduled to be released on earlier or mid of next month.September 12, 2017 at 3:38 pm #12935
When will this be released? We cannot publish reports from within D-Tools due to our inability to incorporate logo/license number with the report theme. We are back to creating individual word docs for each client report.September 12, 2017 at 11:15 pm #12936
SI 2017 R2 update already released on August 3rd 2017 itself (with Manage Report themes ability). If you are part of Software Assurance program surely you will get the update automatically,, if you are not then you wont get update for further queries please contact our sales or support team.September 29, 2017 at 8:48 am #12951
Reports themes do not allow for any alteration, other than color of headers and text. Still stuck copy/pasting everything into word docs and excel sheets.
