Hello everyone, I’m very new to dtools and I’m having a problem logging in remotely. Here’s the problem: My manager created a user for me in SI5 and sent me over all the credentials to log in. I downloaded SI5 to my computer and tried logging in. I receive the following error – “We could not connect to your SI5.5 sever. The D-Tools System Integrator service may not be running on server. Please check the server name, port number and if the D-tools service is running on your server. Click the ‘information’ icon to get information on how to solve this problem”. I double checked the server name and port and it matches. Is there something that needs to be done on my end or is it something that needs to be done on my managers side. Maybe a firewall on his computer preventing me from connecting? This is the first time either one of us have tried logging in remotely on this tool. Any detail as to what we need to do or check would be great!

Here is the link where that ‘information’ icon should have taken you. If this does not resolve your issue you can open a Support Ticket.

Why dont you try common remote support tools like logmein, R-HUB remote support servers etc. for remotely accessing computers? They work well and are easy to use.
