    Hi Guys,

I want to be able to select Packages and Non Package items for filtered reports at the same time.  I want to use, under the Reports tab/Options section, “Selected Items” (for filtering reports, Change Orders, etc..).

But the program only lets me select either items, or packages, BUT NOT BOTH.

For example, say we have a large Change Order, but for now we only want to show two speakers and the wiring package for an HDMI wall plate.  DTools won’t let me select only those items.  I have to select the 2 speakers and then EACH item in the package (but not the package itself).  This makes the report look horrible and shows the client all the stuff that goes into our packages (not something I want to do).  So, instead of one line item saying “Wiring Assembly – HDMI Over Cat6 Balun”, the client sees 6 different line items that make no sense to him.

DTools does let me just click on the package to select the whole package all at once (which is fine) but then it won’t let me select the two speakers.

Is there a way to fix this easily?  I often need to grab Packages and Non-Package items at the same time.

    Thanks for the help!

Anyone?  Is SI2015 being ignored now that 2016 is out?

Has this issue been resolved in SI2016?

Was this ever addressed, or even looked at? I usually get pretty quick replies on this forum. Naresh?
