    Hello

I need some help adding the project number, revision etc in the Visio Template text section.

If there is a tutorial or a way to do this!

    Thanks

    Hi,

Take a look at the Smart Title Block –
    http://support.d-tools.com/01_SIX/User_Guide/04_Projects/03_Visio_Interface/Visio_Shapes_for_SIX/06_Annotation_Shapes

This shape gives you access to many project fields.

It is best to create your custom template and add this shape there. To create a custom template go t the folder C:ProgramDataD-ToolsSIXTemplates. Copy any Visio template (*.vst) to a new .vst file. Now right click and “Edit” the template. Here place the Smart Title Block shape on the background page with the field you want to show. Now create projects using this template.

    Hi,

Copy the template with the page size you normally work on. It is best to coy the template to a new name and not update the existing templates. Templates provided by D-Tools get overwritten by installer updates.

    Hi Naresh

Thanks again.. I chose the desired size, copy/rename paste it in the Templates folder. When I open it its blank – with just the various tabs Cover Page, Line.. etc. No Smart Tile block or DT Stencils. Is it normal? If so where can I find the DT Stencils to drag the Smart Tile Block.

Ok So I went and opened a project with visio using the template created in the template folder. I dragged the Smart Frame –

and the problem listed in another thread: The Images and text stretches out.. I can add file to this thread – I have the screen shots.
