We have not used QuickLinks for a while. Seeing the new improvements with R2 I am interested in looking at doing so. However we use QuickBooks Enterprise 14* in a hosted environment using Remote Desktop, so it can be accessed from anywhere. Is there anyone out there doing something similar? Is anyone at D-Tools aware of anyone doing something similar?

I’ve also submitted a support request to the hosting company.

Also, does D-Tools even work with Enterprise V14? FWIW the Enterprise architecture is based on standard QB.

    Thanks

*To be clear this is desktop QB Enterprise running in a hosted environment accessed using RDP. NOT Quickbooks Online.

Did you ever get an answer to if it works with the ENterprise version?

    Hi,

This page lists the currently supported QuickBooks versions –
    http://support.d-tools.com/01_SIX/Administrator_Guide/02_Hardware_Software_Requirements

    *****************
    QuickBooks Pro/Premier (US 2006-2014, CAN 2006-2014, UK 2010, 2013, 2014)
QuickBooks Enterprise (US 11-14, UK 14)
    *****************

For SIX to connect to QuickBooks it needs access to the QBW file. The QBW file could be on a shared network folder. However it is faster if it (QBW) on the local machine and also open locally.
